Cultura - Dario Doronzo and Pietro Gallo at Carnegie Hall in NYC
Roma, 6 set (Prima Pagina News) “Thinking forward, thinking fast”. It’s the main way to move for Duo composed by Dario Doronzo Flugelhorn Player and Pietro Gallo Piano Musician, a very special “dream team. Last July the 13th, 2017, the two young and talented Musicians coming from Italian South Region named Puglia had their wonderful debut in “Weill Recital Hall” at famous Carnegie Hall in New York City, a Concert entitled “Rewritings”.

 Event has been planned in wider International project named “Il Suono Italiano” by CIDIM supported by MiBACT, under SIMC patronage and Italian Culture Institute in New York. Dario Doronzo and Pietro Gallo Duo performed precious and modern arrangements based upon the most significant and fascinating Italian themes from the XVII to the XX Century, moving among many different and very famous Authors such as Claudio Monteverdi, Alessandro Parisotti, Pietro Mascagni, Tommaso Giordani and Giovanni Paisiello.

Arrangements has been written by Apulian Maestro Gianluigi Giannatempo. The show has been admired and appreciated by numerous listeners and it has been awarded by a final warm “standing ovation”, as result of great and powerful power in intimate communication by young Duo. Empath both of them in work and life, the two young talents agree on the future of the project. "It is our view - says Master Pietro Gallo - that it is necessary to work in this direction, inserting into our concert always new and original ideas." "Everything has happened in the United States –concludes Maestro Dario Doronzo - prompts us to meditate about exporting this wonderful experience to other cultural contexts in the World so we can keep alive this warm hearth in us that characterizes our beings and our lives".
